Events for international students

NHK Symphony Orchestra Concert

Ochanomizu students have opportunities to enjoy a regular concert. Attendants may be selected by lottery in case of a large number of applicants.

Kabuki show

A performance is organized every June to give international students insight into this excellent traditional Japanese performing art. A notice is posted around May, and attendants may be selected by lottery in case of a large number of applicants.

International Festival

This event aims to welcome international students new to Ochanomizu University and offer an opportunity for them to deepen their friendship and promote international exchange with current Japanese and international students. Held each year at around the time of December, it attracts approximately 100 students.

Extracurricular Activities

Ochanomizu University approves the on-campus activities of 32 academic clubs and 17 sports clubs. They provide a great opportunity to mingle with Japanese students and welcome your participation.
