  1. Through an Ochanomizu partner university (Ochanomizu University recommendation)
  2. Through a Japanese embassy or consulate (embassy recommendation)

For details on how to apply, consult with the person in charge at your university or a Japanese embassy or consulate. Government sponsorships are granted to undergraduate students, graduate students, research students, and Japanese language/culture trainees (Japanese studies students).
