Returning to Ochanomizu University for Research

Ochanomizu University 120th Anniversary Project: International Exchange Promotion Fund – Ouinkai – International Exchange Encouragement Award

The grant is offered through the support program for women researchers in the Asia region.
Every year, Ochanomizu University calls for one or two non-Japanese researchers who are active in Asia as researchers or leaders in various fields and wish to return to Ochanomizu University for research. The grant is for up to 2,000,000 yen to conduct research at Ochanomizu University. For details, refer to the application guidelines at the link below.

JASSO follow-up services for international students

Follow-up Research Fellowship

The program provides former international students, who have returned home and are active in education, academic research, or public administration, the opportunity to conduct short-term joint research at a Japanese university. (Ochanomizu University accepted one student in FY2011).
