Kyoko Yokota, Representative Director of Colabolabo and alumna of the Faculty of Letters and Education, received the “Women’s Challenge Award.”
The award is sponsored by the Cabinet Office of Japan and recognizes individual women or groups/collectives of women who have shown initiative in entrepreneurship, NPO activities or community activities, and groups/collectives that support such initiatives. The award began in 2004 with the aim of acknowledging role models in familiar areas and promoting gender equality in society.
